Black Keres launches Friday, October 24
Out 17, 2026
Every hero at Troy fights with a Ker at their back — a spirit of death the Fates keep on the scale for every man in the war. Black Keres is a card duel built around that scale, and it launches this Friday, October 24. Nine heroes, three factions, one full campaign.
The symbol above the title is the Two Keres themselves: one dark, one pale, facing each other like the two sides of the same scale. Whichever one tips decides who walks away from the duel.
What's in it
Nine heroes. Diomedes, Ajax, and Odysseus for the Argives; Paris, Aeneas, and Hector for the Trojans; Automedon, Patroclus, and Achilles for the Myrmidons.
Campaign, faction by faction. Beat a hero's boss and their campaign opens next. Arcade's there too, if you'd rather chase a win streak than a plot.
Gear, exclusive per hero. Each one has its own pool — Bronze Wheels, Cut the Trace, Dardanian Shield, Two Spears, and Banner among the cards that came out of that.
Ker and Fate. Pray for Favor, watch the Fate mark — the game earns its name.
A quick word from the dev
The Iliad practically hands you a card game — these are heroes who already hate each other, already have something to lose. The Ker and Fate layer was the part we were nervous about building. It's also the part that makes the whole thing click.
The whole build, roster to final balance pass, took about ten days. We haven't worked that fast on anything else — the material was just that good to build around.
Friday, October 24. Play it when it's up.
