Something's rattling in the engine bay

Ago 19, 2026

We're building a pinball game about fixing an engine from the inside.

Pinball Auto Shop drops you inside a broken-down engine. Every shot you land — every bumper, every ramp, every lane you clear — feeds energy into the machine around you. Chain enough hits and a dead component sputters back to life: a starter motor, an oil pump, a busted alternator. Clear the whole table and the engine runs again.

It's not just a skin on top of pinball. The table itself is the patient.

Why this one

Pinball is a genre we've wanted to make since day one — tight feedback loops, satisfying impacts, "just one more ball" energy. What we didn't want was a generic table with a theme painted over it. So the repair fiction had to be load-bearing: every scoring sequence has a visible, permanent effect on the machine you're playing inside.

There's a collection layer too — rare engines to discover and repair over time — but the core loop comes first. No complex systems before the pinball itself feels good.

Where we're at

Still early. Flippers, ball physics, and the first repair targets are in and playable internally, but there's no public build yet. We're heads-down on making the table feel right before anything else.

More soon.
